Tease: Coming up in ___________ minutes, Trump becomes the 1st President to be impeached twice

Ten Republicans joined Democrats voting to impeach President Trump in the house yesterday. The trial will now move to the senate but is unlikely to happen until after Biden’s inauguration. The historic second House impeachment accuses Trump of inciting a deadly attack on the Capitol last week. According to a CBS poll 59% of Americans think that Donald Trump encouraged the violence at the Capitol, 90% of Democrats and 23% of Republicans agree. Which is bad news for Trump because Senators tend to take their cues from polls. (Additional out) Which is almost as rare as a second impeachment.

Tease: In ______ minutes, the blockbuster four-team NBA trade

The Rockets have traded James Harden to the Nets in a blockbuster four-team trade. Sources say Houston has moved on from their 31-year-old franchise star as part of a four-team deal to send Harden to the Brooklyn Nets. In return Houston gets three players and a ton of first round picks. So, I guess the lesson is if you want to get traded all you have to do is hang out at strip clubs, put on weight and talk smack about your team. (Additional out) In other words Harden is taking his talent and his beard to Brooklyn.

Tease: Coming up at _____, no Powerball and Mega Millions winners means both will have some of the largest jackpots ever

$640 million and $750 million, that’s the estimated jackpots for this weekend’s Powerball and Mega Millions drawings. That’s because neither lottery drawing had a winner this week. The $640 million Powerball jackpot is the fifth largest of all time and the $750 million jackpot will be Mega Millions second largest ever. So if I’m not here on Monday you’ll know why. (Additional out) That’s one way to turn your 2021 around.

Tease: In _____ minutes, this actor has backed out of a movie over disturbing online rumors

Actor Armie Hammer has pulled out of his next film role amid online rumors of cannibalism. Over the weekend alleged disturbing direct messages attributed to Hammer went viral where he supposedly talked about cannibalism along with explicit sexual content. The 34-year-old actor exited his role in action-comedy Shotgun Wedding but denied the allegations. So, whether it’s true or not he’ll now be known as that tall actor that eats people. (Additional Out) Who would’ve guessed the Winklevoss twins guy was into some weird stuff.

Phone Topic/Web Poll: ColdSnap, a new machine that functions like a Keurig for soft serve ice cream, was introduced at CES. The product that’s created a lot of buzz at the tech show takes shelf-stable, recyclable ice cream pods of varying flavors and freezes them in 90 seconds before dispensing it into a cup or cone. It’s still in prototype stage but they plan on launching in select locations during second quarter of 2021. What do you think, would you want a soft serve ice cream machine in your house or is it too tempting?

Would You Want a Soft Serve Ice Cream Machine At Home?

That’s some Star Trek level dessert at home technology right there, but hopefully its more reliable then the ice cream machine at McDonald’s.
