Tease: Coming up in ___________ minutes, the FBI’s dire new warning

The FBI has warned that “armed protests” are being planned at all 50 state capitols as well as the US capitol during next Wednesday’s inauguration. They are also pursuing 150 suspects and the Capitol Police have opened internal inquiries into 10 to 15 officers over their behavior during last week’s riots. Hence why you shouldn’t take a selfie with someone actively breaking into the building you’re paid to secure. (Additional out) Which seems like six months ago.

Tease: In ______ minutes, Ben & Jerry’s new dog ice cream

You’ll soon be able to reward your furry friend with some Ben & Jerry’s. The company is introduction a new line of ice cream products for dogs that comes in two flavors, pumpkin with cookies and peanut butter with pretzels. Both are specifically made with a sunflower base so they’re easier on dog’s stomachs. The new doggie desserts were inspired by two real dogs in the Ben & Jerry’s office. I think all our dogs deserve a treat for putting up with us during the pandemic. (Additional out) So now our dogs can put on their quarantine fifteen too.

Tease: Coming up at _____, big donors pull the plug

More fallout from last week’s Capitol riots. Amazon, AT&T, Mastercard, Verizon and several other large companies have announced a suspension of political donations to members of Congress who voted against election certification. Over the weekend Marriott, Blue Cross Blue Shield and Commerce Bancshares did the same. Never a good idea to tick off the people who write the checks. (Additional Out) So if you see Ted Cruz flying in coach you’ll know why.

Tease: In _____ minutes, when the WHO says we’ll hit herd immunity

The World Health Organization has warned that herd immunity won’t happen in 2021. In the US more than 200,000 new Covid-19 cases have been reported every day for a week and the UK is entering the ‘worst point’ of the pandemic. The WHO’s warning means social distancing measure will likely need to stay in place “for the rest of the year.” Luckily, I’ve pretty much perfected the art of avoiding people at this point. (Additional out) So basically 2021 is the sequel of 2020 only with more political unrest and violence.
