Tease: Coming up in ___________ minutes, this pizza chain is testing a robot pizza delivery car

Domino’s is launching a pizza delivery robot car. This week the pizza chain rolled out a robot car delivery service to select customers in Houston, Texas. For those who opt in, their pies will arrive in fully autonomous and adorable vehicles made by Nuro. Raising the ethical question, what do you tip a robot delivery guy? (Additional out) As we inch closer to our goal of completely eliminating human interaction.

Tease: In ______ minutes, why the FDA is calling for a pause in the Johnson and Johnson vaccine

The FDA is calling for an immediate pause in the Johnson and Johnson Covid-19 vaccine after six patients developed blood clots. The FDA calls the move an ‘abundance of caution.’ Also, two new studies suggest that despite the B.1.1.7 UK strain being more transmissible, it doesn’t increase the disease severity. Which is good because multiple states are seeing a surge in cases caused by the UK variant. Meanwhile they’re having mask burning demonstrations in, you guessed it, Florida. (Additional Out) And people who wear their masks like a chin diaper.

Tease: Coming up at _____, the insane amount of money Hideki Matsuyama’s Masters win could be worth in his native Japan

Golf insiders say Hideki Matsuyama’s Masters win could be worth between $200 million and one billion dollars. Matsuyama is the first Japanese player to win a golfing major and no country in the world has more golf courses in such a small area. The Masters payout is just $2 million but it will likely lead to hundreds of millions in endorsement deals. And inspire millions to follow a dream they’ll never achieve. (Additional out) I guess I should’ve spent more time practicing putting and less time learning math I’ll never use.

Tease: In _____ minutes, how much Dolly’s ice cream is selling for per pint

Dolly Parton’s ice cream is selling for $1,000 per pint on eBay. The country star teamed up with a dessert company to make Strawberry Pretzel Pie ice cream to benefit her Imagination Library charity. But it was such a hit, it sold out last week and even caused the website to crash. The company says they’re working around the clock to make more. Although we all know Dolly is an advocate for just working 9 to 5. (Additional out) So opportunistic people can buy it all up and resell it online for an enormous profit.

That’s interesting but not concerning enough to make me stop. How about you, do you late night snack and if so what’s your late night snack of choice?
