Tease: Coming up in ___________ minutes, another star NFL QB tests positive

Lamar Jackson has tested positive for coronavirus. The Baltimore Ravens QB is one of more than a dozen players who’ve tested positive on the team. The Ravens scheduled game last night with the Steelers had already been rescheduled due to the team outbreak which also included their top two running backs. Meanwhile the Dallas Cowboys have tested positive for not knowing when to punt on 4th down. (Additional out) Postponing the only Thanksgiving game between teams that stand a chance in the playoffs.

Tease: In ______ minutes, how long Thanksgiving leftovers are good for and some ideas for those leftovers

Thanksgiving leftovers last 3 to 4 days in the fridge and months in the freezer. If you want to try something other than next day sandwiches, here are a few out of the box ideas. You could chop up the Thanksgiving turkey and make it into turkey black bean enchiladas, use leftover stuffing to make stuffins in a muffin tin or turn that green bean casserole into quiche. Plus, and I can’t stress this enough, throw away the cranberry sauce because there’s a reason we only eat it once a year, its terrible. (Additional out) Or throw it all into a blender and make a disgusting Thanksgiving smoothie.

Tease: Coming up at _____, what’s new on Netflix for December

Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom is coming to Netflix next month. The final film starring Chadwick Bozman is getting a lot of Oscar buzz. See our website for the full list on Netflix December adds but a few others include Mank, a film about William Randolph Hearst, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Part 4, the kids film Canvas, the heavily anticipated Selena: The Series and George Clooney sci-fi thriller The Midnight Sky. Plus, a lot more holiday specials no one will watch. (Additional Out) Yet even more reasons to not leave my couch for another month.

Tease: In _____ minutes, the final odds on Saturdays Mike Tyson/Roy Jones Junior fight

Mike Tyson is the favorite ahead of his fight tomorrow with Roy Jones Jr. The 54 year old boxer is listed as a -225 favorite while his 51 year old opponent is a +175 underdog according to DraftKings sportsbook. Tyson and Jones Jr both came out of retirement for the heavily anticipated, eight-round exhibition fight. Which will almost certainly disappoint. (Additional Out) As a general rule I always put my money on the guy who’s bitten someone’s ear off.

Phone Topic/Web Poll: Utah Jazz player Donovan Mitchell sparked a heated online debate when he tweeted a poll asking about an Uno rule. Mitchell asked if you have to say “Uno Out” when you play your last card. We all know the rule about saying “Uno” when your down to your last card but 61.9%, of the over 56,000 people who responded to the Twitter poll, believe that saying “Uno out” is also a rule. Where do you land on the debate, do you have to say “Uno out” when you go out in Uno?

[Contest setup] Today is Black Friday, according to a survey what percentage of US consumers plan to do most of their holiday shopping today?

A: 26%

B: 36%

C: 46%

Answer: B, despite everything else that’s changed, around 36% of Americans still plan to do the bulk of their Christmas shopping today. That’s roughly the same percentage as last year. As usual I plan to wait until a week before Christmas, freak out and load up on gift cards.
