Tease: Coming up in ___________ minutes, Trump agrees to the transition

On Twitter yesterday President Trump signaled that he accepted the decision of his GSA to formally designate Joe Biden as the election’s apparent winner. However, he did not concede and indicated he would proceed with his legal efforts to challenge the election results. The move by Trump appointee Emily Murphy, who runs the agency in charge of presidential transitions, provides Biden with federal funds for his transition and authorizes his aides to begin working with Trump administration officials. And gives White House officials the greenlight to update their linked in profiles and finalize book deals. (Additional out) So in other words the Tiger King better hurry up and get his pardon.

Tease: In ______ minutes, Dancing with the Stars crowns a champ

Bachelor alum Kaitlyn Bristowe and Arlem Chigvintsev were crowned the new champions on Dancing with the Stars last night. The pair performed a repeat of their Argentine Tango to Britney Spear’s “Toxic” and another dance to “Sparkling Diamonds” from Moulin Rouge on the final night. Both received rave reviews. Bringing to a close another season of the show women watch for the dancing and men watch for the outfits. (Additional out) Disappointing all of us who had money on the dude from ‘Catfish’.

Tease: Coming up at _____, what a new covid model predicts by January 20th

The US could reach 20 million Covid cases by January 20th according to a new forecasting model. That would mean cases, that are already at record highs in some areas, would nearly double by then. However, progress on three new vaccines means there’s light at the end of the tunnel if we can continue following mitigation measures like masks and social distancing. Which I’m fine with, I was never a fan of close talkers or shaking hands that are moist for some strange reason. (Additional Out) So, in other words another two months of pretending to have deep and meaningful conversations with my cat.

Tease: In _____ minutes, Jeopardy names their first short term guest host

Former champ Ken Jennings will be the first interim host of Jeopardy after the death of beloved host Alex Trebek. Ken Jennings holds the all-time record for most consecutive Jeopardy games won at 74.  Jeopardy will resume production on November 30th, but a long-term replacement host has yet to be named and Jennings is only the first of what will be a series of guest hosts. Hopefully they’ll let Will Ferrell host at least one episode. (Additional Out) But regardless of who they ultimately choose, I’ll still feel just as dumb watching it.

Phone Topic/Web Poll: Super Bowl winning NFL QB Patrick Mahomes is well known for putting ketchup on his steak, which is appalling in my opinion. But now Patrick has taken it a big step further, admitting that he also puts ketchup on turkey and ham at Thanksgiving. What about you, what odd thing do you put ketchup on?
