Tease: Coming up in ___________ minutes, when the American public will start having access to the vaccine

Pfizer and Moderna have estimated they’ll have enough doses to vaccinate 22.5 million Americans by January. Yesterday Pfizer released even more encouraging news about their vaccine trials with data showing that similar to Moderna’s vaccine, their shots were 95% effective and had no serious side effects. Other than allowing you to see the handful of family and friends you actually enjoyed avoiding. (Additional out) Great news for everyone but Zoom and companies that make sweatpants.

Tease: In _____ minutes, if you like beer and video games Bud Light has an $800,000 solution for you

Bud Light has revealed the BL6, a gaming console that keeps beers cold. The beer maker says the BL6 is ‘the world’s first-ever self-cooling six-pack that also plays video games.’ The koozie console also has a built-in projector and comes preloaded with six games. However, the catch is, there is only one BL6 in existence and the current auction price is just under $800,000. Plus, I’m assuming if you load it with any beer other than Bud Light it self-destructs. (Additional out) A fair price considering it’s the perfect Christmas present for the middle-aged son who still lives in your basement.

Tease: Coming up at ______, there’s a million reasons to be friends with George Clooney

George Clooney once gave 14 friends $1 million in cash each. In an interview with GQ the movie star revealed that before he settled down with his wife Amal, he visited a warehouse in an undisclosed location to pick up $14 million in cash to surprise his 14 closest friends with. That’s one way to keep them from telling stories about what you did when you were single. (Additional out) Which is awesome for everyone except his fifteenth closest friend.

Tease: In _____ minutes, what scientists say about deep cleaning

Scientists say there’s little to no evidence that deep cleaning mitigates the threat of the coronavirus indoors. That’s because we’ve now learned that Covid mainly spreads through inhaled droplets emitted through talking, breathing, yelling, coughing, sneezing and singing. Which is unfortunate, because deep cleaning while coughing, sneezing and singing is one of my favorite activities. (Additional Out) A bit of info I won’t share with my family because our home is the cleanest it’s ever been.
