Tease: Coming up in ___________ minutes, this late night host steps down

Conan O’Brien will end his TBS show in June after 28 years of making a nightly television show. However, he isn’t going away entirely. The popular comedian, Harvard grad and SNL writing alum plans to host a weekly variety show on HBO Max. The streaming service we all got to watch one show and forgot to cancel. (Additional out) No word on what TBS will fill the time slot with before cancelling it to air reruns of a show that was popular twenty years ago.

Tease: In _____ minutes, positive new research on immunity

A new study found that coronavirus immunity may last for many years, good news for people who have recovered from the virus. The F.D.A. also just approved a rapid test that can be performed at home making it possible for more widespread testing outside of healthcare facilities. Count me in, the more I can do from the couch the better. (Additional out) “Thanks for coming over, here’s your covid test, you can quarantine in the laundry room while you wait on the results.”

Tease: Coming up at ______, some of the new Twitter features

Twitter has introduced a bunch of new features including disappearing tweets and audio as the social media platform attempts to evolve beyond tweets. Yesterday the social network announced the new and upcoming features like “Fleets,” which are posts that disappear after 24 hours. However, they still haven’t added the one feature everyone wants, an ‘oh my god I shouldn’t have tweeted that’ edit button. (Additional out) Their creative solution for jokes that won’t land, thoughts you should’ve kept to yourself and drunk tweets.

Tease: In _____ minutes, Rudy asks for 20k a day and gets shot down

America’s mayor, and unintentional Borat 2 star, Rudy Giuliani asked the Trump campaign for $20,000 a day. He reportedly requested the hefty sum for daily legal work challenging the election results but the campaign appears to have said no and Giuliani denied making the request. Apparently being the world’s most famous vampire slash lawyer doesn’t pay what it used to. (Additional Out) But roughly ten dollars per gross exaggeration sounds pretty fair to me.
