Tease: Coming up in ___________ minutes, how the US and Europe are responding differently to Covid

Drinks yes and schools no. With the coronavirus surging in the US and Europe most of the US has chosen to keep restaurants and bars open and schools closed. Europe has done the exact opposite and based on the data the European approach appears to be working better mainly because young children spread the virus less than adults. I’m assuming because their fear of kudies helps protect them. (Additional out) Which is odd because typically they’re tiny germ factories.

Tease: In _____ minutes, scientists find a bunch of ancient mummies

Archaeologists found more 2,500 year old mummies in Egypt. A recent discovery of more than one hundred sealed, colorful coffins in Cairo yielded several new mummies that date back to around 480 BC. Researchers opened a coffin to reveal a well-preserved mummy wrapped in cloth. Then they told the mummy what life was like in 2020 and he politely asked them to let him go back to bed for another couple centuries. (Additional out) When reached for comment Brenden Frasier said something stupid.

Tease: Coming up at ______, Trump appeared to acknowledge loss

Over the weekend President Trump appeared to acknowledge Biden’s victory tweeting “He won because the election was rigged.” But as news networks began reporting calling that a ‘move towards concession’ Trump followed up tweeting that Biden had “only won in the eyes of the FAKE NEWS MEDIA. I condede NOTHING.” Apparently we’re not the only ones who hate-watch the news. (Additional out) What stage of grief is all caps angry tweeting four or five? I’m being told by my producer that doesn’t exist its four.

Tease: In _____ minutes, Dustin Johnson holds on

Dustin Johnson won the Masters by five strokes. The golfer with a well-known history of blowing late leads in big tournaments held on to fend off the competition and win the green jacket at Augusta. It was Johnson’s first Masters win and the lowest score in tournament history. In a related story my nephew beat me at Put Put recently and still won’t shut up about it. (Additional Out) So congrats Dustin on not choking while Jim Nantz whispers.
