Tease: Coming up in ___________ minutes, this state hits one million cases

Texas has become the first US state to hit one million covid cases. California is close as well. Yesterday marked eight straight days that the country reported more than 100,000 new cases per day. News that Pfizer’s vaccine has been shown to be more than 90% effective provides some hope though. Dr. Fauci said he estimates most Americans will receive a vaccine by the end of April. So, I’ve got roughly five more months in my bunker. (Additional out) So we’ve only got five more months without meaningful human contact.

Tease: In _____ minutes, when to watch for the Northern Taurid meteor shower

The Northern Taurid meteor shower peaks today and tomorrow and the best time to view it will be just after midnight. Dazzling fireballs light up the night sky during the annual meteor shower as the Earth passes through the densest part of comet 2P/Encke’s debris stream. Stargazers can expect to see about five fireballs per hour. That’s roughly one every twelve minutes so count me out. (Additional out) A few more if they also down five fireballs per hour.

Tease: Coming up at ______, the court tips their hand on Obamacare

Based on their oral arguments it appears the Supreme Court will likely reject the latest attempt to kill Obamacare. Justice Kavanaugh suggested it wasn’t the court’s place to invalidate the entire law. Chief Justice Roberts added that if the Republicans wanted to kill the law they could have done it. But, in their defense they only had a decade. (Additional out) So apparently Kavanaugh likes beer and the rule of law.

Tayshia stepped in to replace Clare Crawley, who left the show when she got engaged to Dale Moss. On Tuesday’s episode Tayshia told the men, “I cannot share my gratitude enough and thank you guys for staying here.” Adding “I’ll do my best not to marry one of you in a week or two.” (Additional Out) “For the chance to make out with me awkwardly while America watches.”
