Israel and the Palestinian militant group Hamas have agreed to a ceasefire and it appears to be holding today. The truce was brokered by Egypt and comes after a week of conflict left hundreds dead, most of them Palestinians. While the agreement may end the immediate bloodshed, it likely won’t end long-term conflict between the two sides. Because that’s been going on for roughly 2,021 years. (Additional Out) But it will allow the rest of the world to ignore it for a while.

An Alaska man survived an encounter with a brown bear that bit his head. 61-year-old Allen Minish was conducting a land survey near Gulkana when he ‘unknowingly walked up an adult brown bear’. After it charged and attacked him Minesh was able to bind up his wounds and call 911. Rescue personnel soon located Minesh and flew him to a hospital in Anchorage. Where he was treated for his wounds and I assume given a clean pair of pants. (Additional Out) Apparently, lucky for him, he didn’t taste that good.

Followed by the Lin-Manuel Miranda cinematic musical event In the Heights that does the same on June 11th. LFG is a docuseries that arrives in June. It follows the US women’s national soccer team’s ongoing fight for equal pay. Despite being significantly better than our terrible men’s team. (Additional out) So hopefully my ex’s uncle doesn’t change his HBO Max password anytime soon.

Federal law enforcement officials have seized 68 big cats from Jeffrey and Lauren Lowe’s Thackerville, Oklahoma Zoo. The Lowe’s who appeared in the Tiger King docuseries have been accused of mistreating the animals. The animals seized include 46 tigers, 7 lions, a jaguar and 15 lion-tiger hybrids. So it looks like Carole Baskin is gonna get some Ligers. (Additional out) As Jeff Lowe lobbies hard to be the sketchiest character in a show filled with nothing but sketchy characters.
