Tease: Coming up in ___________ minutes, this NFL QB finally got paid

The Dallas Cowboys have agreed to a four-year, $160 million contract with Dak Prescott. After almost two years of on-off negotiation, and last year’s season ending injury, the most valuable franchise in sports struck a deal with their star QB. The Prescott contract has $126 million guaranteed, averages $42 million a year and has a $66 million signing bonus. So, Jerry Jones just learned a $160 million dollar lesson on why you don’t wait to the last minute to sign a franchise QB. (Additional out) Congrats Dak, now you officially have two years to win a Super Bowl before everyone in Dallas turns on you.

Tease: In ______ minutes, new CDC guidelines

Fully vaccinated people can gather indoors in small groups without precautions but should continue to wear masks in public. That’s one of the new guidelines from the CDC, see the full list on our website. The CDC also said that vaccinated people can get together with members of one unvaccinated household if no one has a complicating health risk. That won’t be awkward at all, “Welcome to game night, here’s your three-page health questionnaire.” (Additional out) So choose wisely and quickly before all the fun families you know are taken.

Tease: Coming up at _____, how many people tuned in for the royal interview

17 million people watched Oprah’s interview with Meghan and Harry on Sunday according to Nielsen. That’s nearly three times the typical Sunday night average for CBS. The explosive interview where the couple alleged racism and neglect has plunged the royal family into crisis. Which they’ve reacted to in their typical fashion, pretending it didn’t happen. (Additional out) Granted not a Prince Andrew level scandal, but a scandal none-the-less.

Tease: In _____ minutes, who owns the palace from the Coming 2 America sequel

The lavish palace in the new Coming 2 America film is actually a giant mansion owned by Rick Ross. All of the scenes that took place at the palace where Zamunda’s royal family calls home were shot on location at Ross’ mansion outside of Atlanta. The hip hop mogul purchased the 235-acre estate in 2014 that features a 45,000 square-foot home with 12 bedrooms and a dining room that seats 100 people. You know you’re balling when Hollywood asks to use your house as a pretend palace. (Additional out) It did not however, come with royal bathers.
