The three tech giants will be asked to give an account of the actions they took against the use of their platforms to spread falsehoods and incite violence. It will be the exec’s first appearance before lawmakers since the January 6th Capitol riot and the coronavirus vaccine rollout. This sounds like a headline from the future, Sophia the Robot’s ‘self-portrait’ NFT just sold for nearly 700k. The hand-painted artwork by the world-famous humanoid robot Sophia brought in $688,000 at auction recently. In it Sophia interpreted a depiction of her own face. Great, so now she has some seed money to fund her robot army. (Additional out) In a related story, nobody is interested in the self-portrait I painted in one of those painting classes that’s just an excuse to get boozed on wine.

Some of the highlights for the fourth month of 2021 include Thunder Force a comedy with Melissa McCarthy, Stowaway a sci-fi flick starring Anna Kendrick, Concrete Cowboy with Idris Elba and a kid’s movie The Mitchells vs The Machines.
