Tease: Coming up in ___________ minutes, spring break gets ugly in Miami

Miami Beach officers shot pepper balls into spring break crowds and used sound cannons to enforce an emergency 8pm curfew this weekend. At least fifty people were arrested as the city took extraordinary measures to crack down on spring breakers. The mayor said the crowds that had descended on the city were ‘more than we can handle’. An 8pm curfew at Spring Break, I can’t imagine how that backfired. (Additional out) Miami Beach, come for the covid, stay for the pepper spray.

Tease: In ______ minutes, the biggest March Madness upsets so far

15 seed Oral Roberts is making a historic sweet 16 run and becoming this year’s Cinderella March Madness team. The Golden Eagles had another upset yesterday with their comeback win over the Gators. On the other end of the spectrum the #1 seed, and most bet on team to win, Illinois lost to Loyola Chicago 71 to 58. Single-handedly ruining everyone’s bracket. (Additional out) Bad news for everyone but that one guy who bet on Loyola.

Tease: Coming up at _____, Trump is creating his own one of these

Former President Donald Trump is coming back to social media with his own platform in a few months. Long-time adviser Jason Miller told Fox that Trump will return to social media in ‘two to three months’ on ‘his own platform’ that will ‘completely redefine the game’. Just like Parler did for ten minutes. (Additional out) At least they’re not over-selling it.

Tease: In _____ minutes, Sharon Stone says she was tricked into filming this iconic scene

Sharon Stone says she was duped into going commando in Basic Instinct. In her new memoir the actress writes about the story behind the iconic leg crossing scene, saying that the director misled her, telling her that her panties were causing a light reflection. Stone said she saw the scene for the first time with the director and a room full of lawyers and she was furious about it, but ultimately agreed to allow it in the movie. Where it would go on to become the most paused scene in the history of film. (Additional out) Which sounds pretty par for the course in early 90s Hollywood.
