The Weeknd is officially boycotting the Grammys. The pop star told the New York Times he will no longer submit songs for the prestigious annual awards show after it declined to nominate him for a single accolade for ‘Blinding Lights’ which spent 52 weeks in the top 10. Trevor Noah will host the Grammy’s this Sunday and two dozen artists are set to perform. My uncle is officially boycotting the Grammys too after they snubbed his cover band Slack Babbath yet again. President Biden directed all states to open vaccination opportunities to all adults by May 1st. The President made the announcement in his first prime-time speech to the nation last night asking Americans to do their part in keeping coronavirus dangers at bay. If all goes well he said the nation could be back to normal by July 4th. I’m in, keep sending us checks and I’ll do whatever you want. (Additional out) That’s perfect, the 4th is my second favorite drinking holiday behind Family Thanksgiving.

Matthew McConaughey says he’s seriously considering a run for Texas governor. On a recent podcast interview the movie star, who’s a native Texan, said that running for governor is a ‘true consideration’. Texas Governor Greg Abbott is up for reelection next year. And based on how Abbott handled Covid and the power debacle, Matthew would probably do alright alright alright. (Additional out) So prepare to hear a lot about Matthew’s pot-fueled naked bongo incident.

Netflix may crack down on password sharing. The streaming giant is testing a new feature that would help it crack down on the common practice of sharing accounts. However, the feature is just a test for now and it’s rolling out for a limited number of users. The company’s terms of service say Netflix accounts ‘may not be shared with individuals beyond your household.’ Which is fine with me, I don’t like everyone in my extended family knowing how much I watch murder shows. (Additional out) So, I guess its time to stop using your sister’s boyfriend’s dad’s Netflix account.
