Tease: Coming up in ___________ minutes, what caused a massive crash at the Tour de France

A spectator waving a sign caused a disastrous pile-up at the Tour de France. French authorities are still looking for the woman who stepped in front of the racing pack holding a cardboard sign to display a message for the TV cameras. The sign hit German rider Tony Martin which led to the subsequent crash of dozens of riders behind him. She’s being charged with making the Tour de France watchable. (Additional Out) So far bringing spectators back to sports isn’t going so well.

Tease: In ______ minutes, where two nude sunbathers were fined after fleeing from a wild animal

Australian police found two naked men lost in the bush after they fled a deer while sunbathing on the beach. They were fined $750 each for violating Sydney’s latest round of lockdowns. The two were nude sunbathing when they were startled by the wild deer, ran into the forest and got lost. Something tells me drugs were involved. (Additional Out) Not sure why you would be that scared of a deer and if you were why you would run into the forest where there are likely many more deer.

Tease: Coming up at _____, Simone Biles continues to dominate

Simone Biles won the US Olympic Gymnastic trials last night. The US women’s gymnastic team is set for next month’s Olympics and the reigning world champion led the way. She’ll be joined in Tokyo by Sunisa Lee, Jordan Chiles and Grace McCallum. Where the whole world will be reminded of our dominance at balancing, flipping and posing. (Additional Out) There’s also a men’s team made up of a bunch of guys nobody’s heard of.

Tease: In _____ minutes, how much F9 brought in over the weekend

F9 topped the box office over the weekend bringing in 70-million-dollars in North America. A Quiet Place Part 2 came in second followed by the Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard. The latest entry in the Fast and Furious franchise had the biggest opening weekend for any movie since the start of the pandemic. Which unfortunately means we’ll definitely get an F10. (Additional out) So one thing that hasn’t changed is our love for fast cars, crazy stunts and mediocre acting.
