Tease: Coming up in ___________ minutes, a new problem for Peloton owners

Peloton owners are being warned about hackers. In a report released today cybersecurity company McAfee discovered a vulnerability that allows hackers to access Peloton’s bike screen and potentially spy on riders using its camera and microphone. The threat mostly effects bikes used in public spaces, like hotels and gyms, because the hacker needs to physically access the screen using a USB drive. Proving once again that creepers will always find a way to be creepy. (Additional Out) So at least they can’t hack into the one I bought for my house that I’ve used once.

Tease: In ______ minutes, who Biden sought advice from ahead of his Putin meeting today

Biden has sought advice from Russia experts, political advisers, national security aides and fellow world leaders ahead of his Putin meeting today. The President’s much-anticipated meeting with Vladimir Putin will likely cover recent ransomware attacks, climate change, nuclear weapons, human rights and the US diplomatic presence in Russia. Plus, I’m guessing, a pushup contest or two. (Additional Out) And I’m sure he’ll throw in a few ‘Come on man’s’ for good measure.

Tease: Coming up at _____, the girl scouts need our help

Girl Scouts have millions of boxes of unsold cookies due to the pandemic. According to the organization the Girl Scouts of the USA have 15 million boxes of unsold cookies in surplus this year. Typically, Girl Scouts sell just under 200 million boxes of cookies per season. Most of which, I assume, are sold by parents pressuring their co-workers. (Additional out) Lucky for them, my diet doesn’t start until next month.

Tease: In _____ minutes, this future NBA hall of famer still has it

Kevin Durant once again showed why he’s one of the best in the NBA. On the back of two straight losses, with his fellow stars Kyrie Irving and James Harden out with injuries, Durant scored 49 points, grabbed 17 boards and dished out 10 assists. His triple double led the Brooklyn Nets to a 114 to 108 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks. The Nets now lead the series 3 to 2. Game 6 of the Eastern Conference semi-finals is tomorrow night. Maybe he didn’t need a super team after all. (Additional out) I’m thinking maybe they ought to guard him this time.
