Tease: Coming up in ___________ minutes, the new names for Covid variants

The WHO has begun referring to Covid variants by letters of the Greek Alphabet instead of where they were first detected. For instance, the UK variant that made its way around the US is now variant Alpha and the one responsible for India’s recent surge will be known as Delta. Not sure that naming them like fraternities will make people take them more seriously. (Additional Out) So I guess we’re at the rebranding phase of the pandemic.

Tease: In ______ minutes, a Darth Vader house just hit the market, I’ll tell you where and how much they’re asking

‘Darth Vader House’ just hit the market in Houston, Texas for 4.3 million. The swanky 7,000 square foot home’s nickname comes from the exterior’s resemblance to the helmet of the famed Star Wars villain. It features four bedrooms, five full bathrooms and a four-car garage. Perfect for parking an x1 starfighter. (Additional Out) But, hopefully unlike Darth’s helmet what’s inside isn’t disgusting.

Tease: Coming up at _____, who Jake Paul will fight next

Jake Paul will reportedly face former UFC champion Tyron Woodley in a boxing match. Woodley was Ben Askren’s cornerman when Askren was KOed by the Youtuber last month. On a date that will be disclosed at a later time, Woodley will get the opportunity to avenge his teammate’s loss to Paul. Jake’s brother Logan will face off with Floyd Mayweather Jr. this Sunday night. Marking the first time I’ve ever rooted for Mayweather. (Additional out) Where Mayweather is the odds on favorite, but either way America loses.

Tease: In _____ minutes, China changes its child policy

China will now allow couples to have three children instead of two. The country made the announcement over the weekend in an effort to curb a demographic crisis. China has been limiting childbirths for more than 40 years, first to one child, then upping it to two in 2016 and now officially moving it to 3. So now they too will be forced to deal with middle children. (Additional out) Its got to be weird when the government starts encouraging you to get busy.
