Tease: Coming up in ___________ minutes, Tampa Bay wins another title

The Tampa Bay Lightning won the Stanley Cup for the second time in a row. Tampa Bay’s David Savard slid a pass to Ross Colton in the crease and Colton beat Montreal Canadien’s goalie Carey Price to give the home team a 1-0 lead in the second period. That ended up being enough to hold on and win the cup. Last year they were unable to celebrate with fans, friends and family because they were in the bubble. So, I assume this year there’s a whole bunch of people who drank beer from that trophy last night. (Additional Out) And we all know its just not the same celebrating via Zoom.

Tease: In ______ minutes, why you should update your PC immediately

Microsoft is urging Windows users to install an update ASAP after security researchers found a serious vulnerability in the operation system. The security flaw, known as PrintNightmare, affects the Windows Print Spooler service. Researchers at a cybersecurity company accidentally published a how-to guide for exploiting it. So, Microsoft says to disable the Spooler service or update Windows to the latest version. Instead of ignoring it for months on end like we all typically do. (Additional Out) Or have your kid do it, they’ll probably figure it out faster.

Tease: Coming up at _____, finally a petition we can all get behind

This might be the most important petition in history. Heinz has started a petition to get companies who make hot dogs and hot dog buns to start packaging their products in the same quantity. Hot dogs traditionally come in packs of ten while most buns are sold in eights. You can sign the 10 weiners, 10 buns petition at HeinzHotDogPact.com. Finally, someone is tackling the real issues in this country. (Additional Out) That’s better than my solution of just doubling up on two of the buns.

Tease: In _____ minutes, this country outlaws Instagram model photo edits

Norway has made it illegal to secretly edit a model’s appearance in advertiser social media posts. The new law outlaws Instagram influencers from retouching photos and even threatens to jail offenders. The Norweigan government said the new legislation was passed to help reduce the notion of ‘idealized people in advertising.’ I say just add a disclaimer, ‘You will never look like this because even this model doesn’t really look like this’. (Additional out) Well there goes my dream of being a Norweigan Instagram Model.

The Iceland study resulted in similar or greater productivity and improved well-being. If your company ever moved to a 4 day work week which day would you want off, Monday or Friday?
