Tease: Coming up in ___________ minutes, another billionaire heads to space

The world’s richest man heads to the edge of space. Jeff Bezos hitched a ride aboard New Shepherd, a suborbital capsule and rocket system built by his space company Blue Origin. The excursion lasted 11 minutes and took him and the crew up to 350,000, 55,000 feet higher than Richard Branson flew. But who’s counting, other than two super rich guys who’ve run out of things to buy. (Additional Out) Proof that if you start the world’s largest company by avoiding taxes and not allowing your employees to take pee breaks, you can do anything you set your mind to.

Tease: In ______ minutes, the best airline in the world

Qatar Airways was rated the best airline in the world for 2021 according to AirlineRatings.com. Air New Zealand, Singapore, Qantas, and Emirates round out the top 5. United was the only US airlines to make the top 10. Despite United being voted the airline most likely to drag you off the plane against your will. (Additional Out) Spirit Airlines didn’t crack the top twenty again explaining their new slogan, “Spirit Airlines, you get what you pay for.”

Tease: Coming up at _____, the US and allies accuse this country of cyber crimes

The US and its allies in Europe and Asia accused China of widespread malfeasance in cyberspace. That includes a massive hack of Microsoft’s email system and other ransomware attacks. It’s a significant escalation of the White House’s fight against cyber attacks, but the Biden administration hasn’t yet decided how it will punish Beijing. I assume the same way we punished them for covering up an impending global pandemic, by doing nothing. (Additional Out) Meaning its time for our nerds to strike back against their nerds.

According to the publisher Penguin Random House the Duke of Sussex will share ‘the definitive account of the experiences, adventures, losses, and life lessons that helped shape him.’ Being that the entire world watched the Oprah interview I imagine it’ll do alright. (Additional out) In other words someone from Penguin Random House is getting yelled at by the Queen’s personal secretary right now.
