Tease: Coming up in ___________ minutes, what brought Ted Cruz and AOC together

Both Ted Cruz and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez are mad at stock trading site Robinhood. The lawmakers from complete opposite sides of the political spectrum believe that Robinhood’s restrictions around the GameStop stock punished ordinary people while large investors and hedge funds were able to trade freely. Robinhood has now eased restrictions on the stock and GameStop shares have surged 100% in premarket trading after plummeting yesterday. You know you’ve screwed up when you get those two to agree. (Additional out) Of course then AOC and Cruz went right back to their corners to resume hating each other.

The Weeknd spent 7 million dollars on his Super Bowl halftime show. The ‘Blinding Lights’ singer says he wanted to make the ‘cinematic’ performance ‘what he envisioned.’ The Weeknd’s entire team took six months of Zoom calls and email chains putting together the performance at the big game in Tampa on February 7th because he wants it to be perfect. Which makes me feel a little guilty about my plan to switch back and forth with the Puppy Bowl halftime show. (Additional out) He is aware that the majority of us are drunk by halftime right?

Which seems like something you wouldn’t wait over a year for, but what do I know. (Additional out) As part of their he who smelt it dealt it operation.
