Tease: Coming up in ___________ minutes, reddit users keep this struggling retailer afloat

GameStop stock is up 450% so far this year thanks to reddit users. That’s surprising given that the company is expected to lose money this year and next because gamers can download new titles directly. But, there’s a spirited group of traders on the WallStreetBets subreddit propping up the stock. Reddit is apparently home to hordes of day traders battling with short sellers who have called GameStop a “failing mall-based retailer”. Good for reddit, that’s a nice way to balance out some of the seedier things that happen on your platform. (Additional out) Thanks redditors, where else am I going to trade in my old games for $3 each.

Tease: In ______ minutes, Tony Romo’s bold NFL prediction for 2022

Tony Romo says the Patriots will be back in the AFC Championship game in 2022. Romo has created a lot of buzz recently by correctly predicting the Bucs-Chiefs Super Bowl months ago. Since stepping into the broadcast booth the former Cowboys QB has shown a knack for knowing exactly what type of play offenses are going to run. His latest prediction is that Belichick and the Patriots will bounce back next season. So place your bets now because Football Nostradamus has spoken. (Additional out) So apparently he’s significantly better at predicting Super Bowls than making it to one.

Tease: Coming up at _____, America’s Mayor is getting sued

Dominion Voting Systems is suing Rudy Giuliani for defamation, seeking $1.3 billion in damages. The election technology company has been at the center of conspiracy theories about election fraud, which Giuliani has promoted as Trump’s lawyer on multiple TV appearances and on his podcast. That no one listens to. (Additional out) I assume he’ll be sued by the makers of his hair dye next for making them look bad.

Tease: In _____ minutes, Hollywood elites are trying to skip the line

Hollywood elites are going to great lengths to cut the Covid vaccine lines. According to Variety the rich and powerful in Tinsletown are using every trick in the book to get vaccinated, private and boutique physicians, concierge health services, private flights to Florida for vaccine tourism and even offering bribes to Doctors. This isn’t Disneyland people, there’s no vaccine fast pass. (Additional Out) Which is sadly really cutting into the money they have budgeted for bribing their kid’s way into college.

Phone Topic/Web Poll: Pizza Hut has debuted a new Detroit-syle pizza. In case you haven’t had it a Detroit-styled pizza is rectangular and covered to the brim with cheese. Plus, like all regional variations of pizza the locals swear by it. But what do you think, which US regional pizza style is the best? New York Foldable Thin Crust, Chicago Deep Dish, California Pizza with their innovative toppings, Rhode Island Strips, St. Louis Thin Crust, Detroit’s rectangular pizza or something else?
