Tease: Coming up in ___________ minutes, good news about antibodies

According to new research, people may be protected from Covid reinfection for at least six months after recovering. Researchers in the US and Switzerland studied people who had recovered from the virus and found that while their antibodies fade over time, they maintained levels of specific memory B cells. Those cells ‘remember’ the virus and prompt the immune system to start producing antibodies upon re-exposure. Good news because Operation Warp Speed is still idling. (Additional out) Proving just how amazing and resilient our bodies truly are despite how often we fill them with garbage.

Tease: In ______ minutes, this MLB GM just got fired

Newly-hired Mets GM Jared Porter has been fired. Yesterday he admitted to sending lewd, unsolicited photos to a female reporter in 2016. ESPN obtained dozens of texts that 41-year-old Porter sent to the reporter while working as a scout for the Cubs. He told ESPN the pic of an aroused male genitalia was a stock photo and not one of himself. Apparently, he doesn’t realize that it’s just as offensive to send an unsolicited photo of someone else’s junk. (Additional out) Fortunately for him he is now qualified to run for New York’s 9th congressional district.

Tease: Coming up at _____, a new hotline for relieving stress

There’s a new hotline that urges people to call in and scream. Just Scream! is a hotline created by elementary school teacher Chris Gollmar that aims at reducing stress and tension for those needing an outlet. All you have to do is call the hotline and scream as loud and long as you want and then hangup. The scream calls are also uploaded to a website Gollmar created and there’s currently a backlog of over 40,000 screams waiting to upload. Essentially it’s the same as calling any cable provider to cancel your service. (Additional out) So, either he’s a kind-hearted guy who came up with a creative way to relieve stress or he just has a scream fetish.

Tease: In _____ minutes, this movie star says he hates being famous

Ben Affleck hates being famous. The movie star and director was reportedly recently dumped by his 32-year-old actress girlfriend Ana De Armas after a year together. During an appearance on The Hollywood Reporter podcast Awards Chatter, Affleck said “I hate being famous. I don’t mind if I’m not famous. I want to get away from all of this, I can’t stand it.” In his defense it would be tough to be famous for being Matt Damon’s less talented friend. (Additional Out) Granted it has to be tough being known as the guy who ruined Batman.

Phone Topic/Web Poll: A man lived undetected in Chicago’s O’Hare Airport for 3 months. That’s a long time to live off of left-over Cinnabons and Starbucks. The 33-year- old California man named Aditya Udai Singh was “scared to go home because of Covid.” He was arrested over the weekend and charged with impersonation in a restricted area of the airport and theft. Later in court he revealed he’d been living at O’Hare undetected since his flight from LA on October 19th.  What do you think, how long could you live in an airport undetected? How would you do it?

How Long Could You Live In An Airport Undetected?

A man lived undetected in Chicago’s O’Hare Airport for 3 months. That’s a long time to live off of left-over Cinnabons and Starbucks. The 33-year- old California man named Aditya Udai Singh was “scared to go home because of Covid.” Which seems like solid logic, I'm sure a crowded airport is a great place to ride out a pandemic. He was arrested over the weekend and charged with impersonation in a restricted area of the airport and theft. Later in court he revealed he’d been living at O’Hare undetected since his flight from LA on October 19th.  What do you think, how long could you live in an airport undetected? How would you do it?
