Global vaccine confidence is rising. According to a recent survey, now more than half of people in 15 countries say they’d take the vaccine if offered. Also COVAX, a vaccine-sharing initiative, has announced their plan to distribute more than 330 million doses to developing nations in the first half of the year. Plus, organizers of the Tokyo Olympics outlined plans to keep athletes safe, showing their determination to hold the event this summer. I say every country picks two athletes and they have to compete in every sport, it would be safer and a lot more fun to watch. (Additional out) They could start by getting rid of the sports nobody cares about like race walking and dressage.

Country star Morgan Wallen has apologized after a video surfaced on TMZ of him using a racial slur and profanities. The chart-topping country singer who won CMA new artist of the year in 2020, has already been dropped by hundreds of radio stations across the country and suspended indefinitely by his record label. After they told Morgan to take his mullet and sleeveless shirts and go home. (Additional out) No word on when they’ll schedule his redemption tour.

After a short 9-month absence, peeps are back for Easter. Candy maker Just Born Quality Confections announced yesterday that the sugary treats will return to shelves just in time for the Easter holiday after a 9-month absence caused by the pandemic. Great news for the five people on the planet who actually eat peeps. (Additional out) And yes, they’re just as creepy looking as before.  

Tease: In _____ minutes, Golden Globes nominations were announced and these shows led the pack  

Netflix’s “The Crown” and “Mank” led the Golden Globe nominations with six each. “The Trial of the Chicago 7” and “Schitt’s Creek” followed with five a piece. Overall Netflix led in both television and film nominations. Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will return as hosts and the Golden Globes will take place virtually on Sunday, February 28th on NBC. But it’s just not the same watching them roast people via Zoom. (Additional Out) Thanks to the quarantine this is the first year I’ve watched literally everything that was nominated at least once.

Answer: C, the temperature inside the vortex is approximately -130 degrees Fahrenheit. According to science that’s roughly the same temperature as my ex’s heart.
