Tease: Coming up in ___________ minutes, this well-known governor is in hot water

Lindsey Boylan, a former aide to New York Governor Andrew Cuomo said he kissed her without consent. This comes on the heels of revelations about his administration concealing covid deaths at nursing homes. The alleged incident with his former aide happened in his Manhattan office and she also claims he invited her to play strip poker on an airplane. Cuomo has denied the allegations. To be clear this is the Cuomo who did the daily covid reality show, not the Cuomo who does the primetime TV show. (Additional out) I apologize if this story made you picture Andrew Cuomo playing strip poker.

Tease: In ______ minutes, good and bad covid news

New cases of Covid-19 have stopped declining in the US and worldwide. Its hard to draw conclusions from one week of data, but experts believe it’s because of the new variants and stalls in rolling out vaccinations. On a brighter note, nursing homes are doing much better here with Covid deaths down 60 percent between December and February. Plus, a third vaccine has been approved for emergency authorization use in the US, the single dose vaccine from Johnson and Johnson. The same guys who made the no tears shampoo I used for way longer than I was supposed to. (Additional out) But just like happy hour, I’ll take whichever one they serve me.

Tease: Coming up at _____, details revealed about the new streaming service Paramount Plus

Details have finally emerged about that streaming service Beavis and Butt Head have been pushing. In a 3-hour event yesterday ViacomCBS provided the first details on Paramount+, the rebranding of CBS All Access that will launch March 4th. The service will lean heavily into scripted dramas, reality TV and children’s programming, including 36 original series in the first year. It’ll have two tiers, $4.99 per month with ads, $9.99 without. That’s roughly the same as CBS All Access, but with a lot more content. That you’ll never watch. (Additional out) Enough to easily make them the fifth or sixth most popular streaming service.

Tease: In _____ minutes, the CIA’s plan to stop invisible attacks

The CIA has set up its first-ever task force to focus on stopping debilitating invisible attacks. In the last few years about 40 US government officials across multiple agencies have been victims of suspected microwave, or invisible, attacks in Russia, Cuba, China and other places around the globe. The mysterious nature of these attacks, thought to be caused by directed microwave radiation, leave victims with traumatic brain injuries and other lasting side effects. Basically, it’s like playing a few seasons in the NFL. (Additional out) Not to be confused with the smelly and heartless microwave attack your coworker that buys the fish lean cuisines does every Tuesday at noon.

Phone Topic/Web Poll: Los Angeles County Supervisor Janice Hahn is ordering a safety review of the road where Tiger Woods had his rollover crash. Sheriff Alex Villanueva says that stretch of road in Rancho Palos Verdes has been the site of 13 accidents in the past year. What do you think, do we have any similar traffic accident hot spots in our area? If so, where are they?
