Tease: Coming up in ___________ minutes, this famous couple is expecting

Archie’s going to be a big brother. Prince Harry and his wife Meghan are expecting their second child. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex made the announcement on Sunday. The new baby will be the younger sibling to the couple’s son Archie Harrison, who will turn 2 on May 6th. Meghan and Harry officially stepped down from their roles as senior royals last year. Can’t wait for that season of the Crown. (Additional out) Leaving the rest of the family to carry the burden of waving at people in parades.

Tease: In ______ minutes, Trump’s post acquittal legal troubles

Donald Trump was acquitted at his impeachment trial over the weekend, but his legal troubles have just begun. Prosecutors in New York are looking into his business dealings and in Georgia they are conducting criminal investigations into his attempts to overturn the state’s election results after his phone call with Republican election officials leaked. Unfortunately for him, this time Ted Cruz and Josh Hawley won’t be on his jury. (Additional out) Where he will mount the “I’m sorry I didn’t know I couldn’t do that” defense.

Tease: Coming up at _____, half of Americans are under weather advisories

Nearly 170 million people are under winter weather advisories, roughly half of all Americans. Icy roads, power outages and dangerously low temperatures threaten to stop traffic and paralyze cities from coast to coast. More than 2 million customers are without power this morning and emergency declarations have been issued in at least seven states. Basically it looks like “The Day After Tomorrow” outside but there’s no Dennis Quaid coming to save us. (Additional Out) Luckily, at this point we’ve pretty much perfected the art of hunkering down at home.

Tease: In _____ minutes, who emerged from a fiery crash to win the Daytona 500

An insane last-lap crash gave Michael McDowell his first Daytona 500 win amidst fire and major wreckage. Earlier in the rain-delayed race there was a 16-car-pile-up, but that turned out to just be a precursor to a crazy day of racing in Daytona. The second even larger crash caused a caution to come out and gave McDowell his first-career Cup Series victory after 357 starts. Congrats on finally perfecting the art of turning left while driving really fast. (Additional out) That’s a lot of times peeing in your suit before it finally pays off.

Phone Topic/Web Poll: Skinny jeans, side parts and the laughing crying emoji aren’t cool anymore according to Gen Z. One seventeen-year-old called it ‘bland’ and said ‘not too many people’ his age use it. Another teen said, ‘As a 15-year-old I say you should use that emoji because we sure aren’t going to’. So, let it be written that the arbiters of cool on Tik Tok have spoken. I’m with them on skinny jeans but I’m still using the emojis. What do you think, are skinny jeans, side parts and the laugh cry emoji still cool?
