Tease: Coming up in ___________ minutes, authorities have ID’d the Nashville bomber

Anthony Quinn Warner has been identified as the bomber behind the Christmas Day explosion in Nashville. The RV explosion damaged forty one buildings and injured three people, killing Warner.  Authorities are still looking into possible motives. A Nashville man named Buck McCoy who lived adjacent to the explosion said he feels ‘very lucky on Christmas’ to have survived the blast. Buck McCoy might be the most Nashville sounding name I’ve ever heard. (Additional out) Not how you want to be woken up on Christmas morning.

Tease: In ______ minutes, when the next stimulus checks are coming out after the delayed signing of the bill

Stimulus checks should be sent out before January 15th. That’s the deadline the relief legislation gives the IRS to send out the next direct payments that are expected to go out quicker since the process is already in place. Although he'd threatened to veto it, Trump signed the $900 stimulus bill last night one day after much of the previous relief measures lapsed and just in time to avoid a government shutdown. Hopefully the checks arrive before my Christmas credit card bill. (Additional out) Following in a long-standing Washington tradition of waiting until the eleventh hour.

Tease: Coming up at _____, Bitcoin hits an all-time high

Bitcoin just passed $28,000 and show no signs of stopping. It has boomed during the pandemic with investors leaning on cryptocurrency while the dollar weakened. That means if I would have invested $10,000 in Bitcoin back in 2013 when it was valued at $22 it would be worth $12.7 million today. Unfortunately, I don’t have a time machine or ten grand. (Additional out) However, I hadn’t even heard of Bitcoin in 2013 and I still don’t understand it in 2020.

Tease: In _____ minutes, who oddsmakers think will win the worst division in football

The Washington Football Team is still the odds on favorite to win the NFC East. Washington missed an opportunity to clinch the worst division in football yesterday by losing to the Carolina Panthers. The Cowboys are still alive at 6-9 after beating Philly yesterday as are the Giants, despite their 5 and 9 record. But only one team will win the right to be knocked out in the first round of the playoffs. (Additional Out) As the NFC Least continues to live up to its name.

The studio is reportedly fast-tracking production of Wonder Woman 3 starring Gal Gadot. Have you seen Wonder Woman 1984 yet, and if so, what did you think? Did it live up to the hype?
