The advisory noted a ‘rapid increase’ in prescriptions for the drug meant to treat parasites such as worms and lice in humans. It is also used by vets to de-worm large animals. The CDC says it won't treat you for Covid-19 but it might kill you. The increase comes after some media personalities pushed it as a possible treatment for Covid-19.
