Croc sales continue to surge. Yesterday Crocs reported that sales surged 64% in first quarter of 2021 to $460 million. Over the weekend musician Questlove wore a paid of custom gold Crocs to the Oscars, plus they released a special Lightning McQueen pair this week. Though many deride them as ugly, sales of Crocs have boomed during the pandemic. It’s the shoe that says I’m not doing anything today that requires me to move fast or look presentable. Randy Quaid says he’s ‘seriously considering’ running for Governor of California. The actor is the second celebrity to announce his interest in being Governor, following Caitlyn Jenner. Quaid claims ‘prosecutorial corruption’ was ‘rampant’ in California and that he would ‘clean up the DA’s offices’ if elected. A recall election against Governor Gavin Newsom is likely to happen later this year. I for one, look forward to seeing him debate Caitlyn Jenner and Cousin Eddie.
