Tease: Coming up in ___________ minutes, cases are rising sharply in this US state

Infections and hospitalizations in Michigan have risen sharply in recent weeks. The state has added more Covid-19 cases per capita than any other state. Officials blame a more contagious variant and a premature return to prepandemic behaviors. On a brighter note, 30% of the country has received at least one shot of a vaccine. And so far nobody has sprouted an extra arm. (Additional Out) Hence why Texas and Florida are acting like this was all a bad dream.

Tease: In ______ minutes, sales of these two luxury cars are booming

Sales of Bentleys and Lamborghinis are booming. Auto sales as a whole have suffered from factory shutdowns and other disruptions during the pandemic. But sales of super-expensive cars like Ferraris, Bentleys and Lamborghinis finished 2020 at a blistering pace. One of the main reasons appears to be the fact that rich people are bored because they are not able to go on trips. I guess that’s one way to celebrate getting a stimulus check you didn’t need. (Additional out) You know you’re loaded when your answer to boredom is dropping six figures on a new ride.

Tease: Coming up at _____, some of the insane things they’re putting peeps in

Peeps have officially gone too far, overshooting their comeback with Peeps Lattes, Peeps Smoothies, Peeps cereal, Peeps Pepsi and even Peeps clogs. After a short hiatus, the sugary, marshmallow candy has bounced back with a vengeance just in time for Easter. Which makes sense being that I’ve never seen a single person eat one. (Additional out) Despite the fact that no one missed them.

Tease: In _____ minutes, how the ‘Cash Me Ousside’ girl made a million in six hours

‘Cash Me Ousside’ girl Bhad Bhabie made $1 million dollars in six hours by joining OnlyFans a week after turning 18. Daniel Bregoli, who originally gained fame after an appearance on the Dr. Phil show went viral, went on to become a rapper and Instagram influencer that goes by Bhad Babie. Yesterday she joined subscription website OnlyFans and has already broken the site’s record. Which I was hoping was an April Fool’s joke but unfortunately it was not. (Additional out) But I’m sure it’s all above board.

Phone Topic/Web Poll: We may all be paying more for toilet paper soon. This week the maker of Scott, Cottonelle and Viva announced that it will begin to raise prices on some products later this year. I will not be deterred by the increase, because toilet paper is one thing I never skimp on. What about you, what's the main thing you never buy the generic brand for?
