The White House’s six-pronged plan will focus on vaccinating the unvaccinated, booster shots, keeping schools open, increasing testing  and requiring masks, economic recovery and improving care for those with Covid-19. Tease: In ______ minutes, what’s different this year as the NFL regular season kicks off tonight

As the NFL kicks off its 102nd season tonight with the Bucs Cowboys game, fans will notice a few differences this year. The regular season has been expanded to 17 games, the league vowed to crack down on taunting, many different positions can now wear single-digit numbers and for the first time since 2012 at least 3 rookie quarterbacks will start week 1, Trevor Lawrence, Zach Wilson and Mac Jones. And I’m sure loyal fans will give them all three or four weeks before turning on them. (Additional Out) Unfortunately two of them play for the Jaguars and Jets so they’ll likely be running for their lives every week.

Factors included nightlife, restaurants, cultural highlights, sense of community, environmental initiatives, activism and general friendliness. Which in my experience is best measured when stuck in traffic. (Additional) That or they just threw a dart at a map.

Derek Jeter, Marvin Miller, Ted Simmons and Larry Walker were inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame yesterday. Yankees great Derek Jeter closed out a long-overdue afternoon of speeches at the ceremony that had been delayed by the pandemic. Jeter led baseball’s most storied franchise to seven pennants and five World Series amassing 3,465 hits during his 20-year career with the Yankees. Plus, he dated Mariah Carey, Jessica Alba and Scarlett Johansson. (Additional) Unfortunately, for 10 of those years he had to play with A-Rod.
