Merck announced a pill to fight Covid-19. The pharmaceutical company says their new pill cuts the risk of hospitalization or death from Covid-19 by half in a study. If approved by the FDA for emergency authorization use, it would become the first oral antiviral for Covid-19. If only they had a pill that let me go back in time and buy Merck stock yesterday. (Additional out) Finally a solution for people who blame their hesitancy on something they saw on Facebook but are really just scared of needles.

The McRib is back nationwide on November 1st. McDonald’s announced the return of the popular limited-time offering to menus 30 days from now. It will also mark the 40th anniversary of the McRib, which was a dud on debut but bounced back to become a fan favorite. Because of McDonald’s brilliant marketing ploy of denying it to us for 10 months out of the year. (Additional out) Despite the fact that it’s not actually made of rib meat.
