Tease: Coming up in ___________ minutes, the latest on the Georgia Senate races

The balance of power in the Senate appears to have shifted after yesterday’s two critical Georgia Senate races. Most major networks have projected that Reverend Raphael Warnock has defeated incumbent Senator Kelly Loeffler by a narrow margin. Plus, Democratic challenger Jon Osoff leads Republican David Perdue by 16,000 votes with the outstanding votes coming from Democratic-leaning areas (COULD BE CALLED AT ANY SECOND). So, no pressure Georgia but the whole world is watching. (Additional out) Depending on which network you’re watching.

Tease: In ______ minutes, this rap icon has been hospitalized

Dr. Dre was hospitalized yesterday after suffering a brain aneurysm. The 55-year old rapper and producer received medical treatment at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in LA but has since reassured fans he is “doing great” and he’ll be “out of the hospital and back home soon.” His former NWA alum Ice Cube tweeted, “Send your love and prayers to the homie Dr. Dre.” Missy Elliot said, “Prayers up for Dr. Dre and his family for healing and strength.”

Tease: Coming up at _____, where a naked fugitive was rescued

A naked fugitive was rescued from crocodile infested waters by two Australian fishermen. Cam Faust and Kevin Joiner were in a small boat laying crab traps near Darwin when they heard a man crying for help. The man turned out to be naked 40-year-old Luke Voskresensky who had been living off snails in the mangroves for four days after skipping out on his bail and getting lost on his way to a New Year’s Eve party. Yet another reason why Australia is the Florida of countries. (Additional Out) ‘We missed you at the party Luke,’ ‘Yea sorry about that I was naked in the swamp eating snails.’

Tease: In _____ minutes, the new date for the Grammy’s

The Grammy’s have been postponed until March due to Covid-19. The event had been set to take place at the Staples Center in LA January 31st with Trevor Noah hosting. However, the recent surge in cases in Los Angeles caused organizers to move the date back to March 14th.  Meaning I have another couple months to throw together my Regional Roots Folk Music Album. (Additional out) Giving all of us more time to explain to our parents who all these artists are.
