Tease: Coming up in ___________ minutes, Biden pledges to ‘end the forever war’

President Biden announced his plan to withdraw the US Military from Afghanistan by September 11th, the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. Some Afghan citizens worry that the withdrawal will allow the Taliban to flourish. To keep that from happening the US may use drones and bombers. In a speech to the nation Biden said ‘It is time to end the forever war.’  If they’d have called it that from the get go nobody would’ve signed off on it. (Additional out) Adding ‘I should know, I was asleep in the room when they decided to kill Bin Laden 10 year ago.’

Tease: In ______ minutes, this comic who joked about Colton Underwood being gay posts his support

Billy Eichner, who joked about Colton Underwood being gay on The Bachelor in 2019, posts his support after yesterday’s reveal. Underwood, who was the Bachelor on Season 23 came out in an interview on GMA yesterday. Afterwards the clip of Eichner’s cameo on the show saying ‘I’m gay. I know that’s a shock, Colton. And I think you should look into it,’ circulated on the internet.  Because the internet never forgets anything. (Additional Out) I guess it took making out with 32 women on live TV to realize Billy was right.

Tease: Coming up at _____, the CDC says they need more info on J&J

The CDC put off making any decision on the Johnson & Johnson vaccine yesterday, saying they need more information. The J&J vaccine was put on pause after 6 women developed a rare type of blood clots. Dr. Fauci stressed that the recommended pause is just that, ‘a pause, not a cancellation.’ To give them time to dig through the vaccines Twitter feed to see if it ever said something remotely offensive. (Additional out) Just to be safe, I’ve also stopped using Johnson and Johnson No Tears Shampoo.

Tease: In _____ minutes, these may be the world’s most expensive sneakers

Kanye West’s $1 million dollar Yeezys may be the most expensive sneakers in the world. The first Yeezy sneakers Kanye ever wore in public are going on sale at Sotheby’s. The auction house didn’t reveal an exact asking price, though it said the shoes were valued ‘in excess of $1 million.’ Kanye West debuted the Nike Air Yeezy 1 Prototypes at the Grammy Awards in 2008. Personally, I’ll wait until they auction off the mic he snatched from Taylor Swift at the 2009 VMAs. (Additional out) I’m in provided he uses the proceeds to fund his next pretend presidential bid.
